Shimla Khel Mahotsav is a project of Living Dreams Foundation. In a bid to provide sportspersons with a platform while encouraging a host of youth to take up sports and keep them away from distractions like drugs, Shimla Khel Mahotsav is Launched with focus on the following aspects:
- Provide a platform for athletes to showcase their skills
- Promote nationally recognized sports at the grassroots level
- Provide an opportunity for youth hailing from remote areas to pursue sports
- Dissuade youth from falling prey to drugs
- Put a check on obesity
- Connect talent with opportunity
The primary objective of the Shimla Khel Mahotsav is to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills, fostering a sense of discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition. The initiative is founded on the belief that sports possess a transformative power, capable of instilling values that transcend mere athletic performance.
It is firmly believed that participation in sports contributes significantly to the holistic development of the youth, shaping them into well-rounded individuals both on and off the field.
